What Do I Need to Know?

Preparing for Surgery

  • Arrange transportation to and from the surgery center.
  • The facility will call you to complete preregistration. This is when you will be provided information about fasting requirements and medication instructions before surgery. You willl also be given a surgery time.
  • Preparing your home for post-operative recovery.
  • Call your insurance to learn abour your insurance coverage and benefits.

Day of Surgery

  • Bring your photo ID, insurance card, and a form of payment for your surgical copay and premium lens fee.
  • Expect to be at our center for a total of 2 hours. This is includes pre-operative care, operation time, and post operative care.
  • Information about anesthesia and what to expect during the procedure.
  • Family and visitor guidelines and waiting area details.
